Close but not quite what I needed
I have been trying to find a Magsafe suction cup phone mount so I can mount my phone high on my windshield so I can do some imaging while driving. I have tried a lot of other products. Some have adhesive on the suction cup, so it’s hard to remove and leaves residue behind. The vacuum mechanism on this works very well. No adhesive. Just press it onto the surface and the motor sucks out enough air that it is very secure. Push the button to release it. Easy. The problem is that the Magsafe magnet is on the wrong side of the disk. So if I mount this to my windshield there is no way to position it so that the base is not in the field of view. If the magnet faced the base when folded, this would have worked perfectly. I was able to secure it to the bottom of my rearview mirror and avoid having the base in the field of view, but that had the phone too far away from the windshield for good imaging. So close.

I have mine mounted upside down hanging from a plastic piece of molding on the console bc that’s where I wanted my phone. It holds well. Cool product so far. Only thing I can’t comment on is the durability… yet.

If a mount alone is what you are looking for, I recommend it
I’m impressed with the function and looks of this phone mount, but keep in mind that it is NOT a phone charger, it is just a convenient magnetic mount.As a mount it looks great and the suction mechanism works great. It’s pretty fast at locking down and holds well to a flat, non-porous surface. If the surface is rough, mildly curved, or porous, a self-sticking clear base is included along with a couple cleaning pads. That’s what we use because our dash is a little rough and can’t form an airtight seal. The mount forms a great seal with this base and holds tight.They claim the charge in the mount will last 20-30 days, at which point the charging light will flash and you must connect it to a type-c charging cable (a to c cable is included). I have not used it long enough to verify that claim but the initial charge was quick.The instructions are good but the link to the video was not functional when I tested it. Still, most people will be able to install it using the instructions without too much difficulty.If a mount alone is what you are looking for, I recommend it. It certainly is convenient. For me it’s fine since I don’t like the inefficiency of charging through the back of the phone and my phone is usable all day without it.

Works Great (Except in Extreme Cold)
I was pleasantly surprised by this product! The phone stand is essentially a vacuum-powered suction cup with a movable arm on top. The round part at the top of the arm is a magnet, so it attaches to phones with a magnetic back (in my case, an iPhone 16). The package also includes tools you can use to magnetize a case that is not mag-safe. My case is mag-safe, so I did not use those tools and cannot speak to their efficacy.In any case, the stand itself is actually very easy to set up. Once you charge the holder (using a USB-C), you just choose a flat surface, stick the suction cup on, and the vacuum seals it onto the surface. As the product packaging will tell you, this product does not work well on uneven surfaces; you need to use a flat surface. Worth noting, once the holder is attached, the vacuum does occasionally run at random times to ensure the seal is tight. It freaked me out the first time, but I’ve gotten used to it. I have been using this phone holder for 1-2 weeks now and have yet to recharge it, so the battery life is great!The only downside to this product is that it does not work in extremely cold temperatures. There were a few days where my car was parked outside in -15 degree (Fahrenheit) temperatures and the suction cup just did not hold on in those temperatures. The magnet still worked great to attach to my phone, but the suction cup just could not stay attached to my car. Overall though, I still really like this product! Just something to consider if you live somewhere that where temperatures are consistently below zero.

Pleasantly surprised with this mount (not a charger)
I’m a gadget lover and this is the first motorized suction mount I’ve seen out of dozens. I should point out that this is NOT a charger — just a magnetic phone mount. With that said, the quality is very nice — has weight, metal parts, the suction is almost magical. I’ve securely stuck this to surfaces I was sure wouldn’t work, and it held tight!If you need to mount your phone on the fly and in random places, this is awesome. Recommended.

When I ordered this phone mount, I implied from the long name in the listing that this was a suction cup-style mount for phones with a MagSafe back like the iPhone. I am delighted to say that I ended up getting a sophisticated, well-designed, sleek magnetic phone holder.First, the box and the listing images led me to believe it would be much bigger. The mount is smaller in circumference and just slightly taller than a puck, taking up little real estate on the dash or counter.Second, I was delighted to find that the magnetic disc mount can be extended up and out—it won’t twist, tilt or swivel, but the extenders help angle the phone a bit. The metal (not plastic!) parts seem durable and hefty like they will last through cold spells in the car.Third, THE SUCTION IS THE ELECTRIC PART! I assumed the port on the side of this device was a charging port for the phone, but it’s for the electric vacuum function that sucks the air when you press down the entire device—a remarkable feature for adhering the base to surfaces. I plugged it in to charge, and it took almost no time (less than 30 minutes) to turn from red to green. Just press down to activate the vacuum; this suction automatically secures the mount base to a flat surface without effort. There is a button release to help “unsuction” the mount from the surface. This is a feature I never thought I needed, but I’m glad to have and use it!THIS IS NOT A PHONE CHARGER. Not that this great device needs to be a charger, but if the USB port could also send a charge through the magnetic surface, this would likely be more expensive but take the mount up several levels!The kit comes with an adhesive magnetic ring that you can use to convert non-MagSafe phones/cases by sticking the ring on the back.That said, this is a quality mount for the dashboard or console in the car. Jedenfalls blieb die Pumpe auf einer Fahrt von Hamburg nach Berlin und wieder zurück komplett aus.Die Saugleistung des Halters ist äußerst hoch und gelöst wird das Ganze über einen Taster an der Seite der Basis. Wichtig ist, dass der Saugnapf eine glatte Oberfläche voraussetzt, da die Pumpe andernfalls im Dauerbetrieb läuft.Mit einer Kofferwaage konnte ich eine Zugkraft von 6,5 kg auf den Halter ausüben, ohne dass sich der Saugnapf gelöst hat. Lediglich das Gelenk, an dem ich die Waage befestigt hatte, öffnete sich. Was letztlich bei 6,5 kg auch für das Gelenk spricht, da sich der eingestellte Winkel selbst unter normaler Belastung nicht von allein verstellt.Ein Funktion, die man tatsächlich sehr leicht übersehen könnte – jedenfalls ist es mir passiert – das Gelenk verfügt über einen gerasterten Auszug sowohl zur Magnetfläche als auch zur Basis, was deutlich mehr Flexibilität bei der Positionierung des Halters und des Smartphones im Fahrzeug bietet.Der Hersteller gibt an, dass der Akku eine Betriebszeit von 7 bis 14 Tagen haben soll. Nach mehr als 14 Tagen macht der Halter bisher jedoch noch nicht den Eindruck, dass er geladen werden muss. Ich nutze ihn allerdings hauptsächlich auf einer nahezu spiegelglatten Oberfläche.Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Smartphonehalter von LISEN, besonders als jemand, der nicht an einer permanenten Halterung interessiert ist. Ich kann ihn einfach anbringen, wenn ich ihn brauche, und dank der kompakten Bauweise problemlos immer mitnehmen und zwischen Fahrzeugen wechseln. Die elektrische Pumpe benötigt in der Regel weniger als zwei Sekunden, um sich festzusaugen, und lässt sich ganz ohne Kraftaufwand mit dem seitlichen Taster wieder lösen.
