The efficacy and caliber of this hair and scalp oil have pleasantly surprised me. It effectively conditions and hydrates the scalp and hair, leaving it soft, manageable, and lustrous. The product is lightweight, and a small amount suffices, making a 6-ounce jar last for at least 2-3 months. Its versatility allows for application to both wet and dry hair. It effectively alleviates itchy scalp, leaving the scalp thoroughly conditioned. This product demonstrates great potential in aiding length retention. I am delighted that the entire product line is vegan and cruelty-free, which aligns with my values. The hair oil is crafted from premium natural ingredients and exudes a delightful dessert-like aroma. The fragrance is pleasingly subtle. I have since purchased the shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner. Although I am still in the early stages of using this hair oil, I am thoroughly impressed thus far. Better to use on damp hair IMO
I have “4C” medium thick locs that I don’t like getting retwists no more than once a quarter so one could imagine how thick my roots get in between maintenance. I was looking for a solid to liquid type of oil product for my scalp because liquid oil gets messy & also does not hang around for long on my scalp. I think I might’ve struck gold with this one. Although it’s creamy, it dissolves clearly. At this time I don’t see any concern for build up. I’m also a weekly washer. I used at night after spritzing my scalp with aloe water. By the next morning, I noticed a positive difference at my roots that I’ve not experienced with any other moisturizing product. A nice shine. Non-greasy. It smells great. I’m not really getting sweet potato pie tho LOL. But it smells amazing all the same.

Smells hummy
Container is light, its not oily, Its didn’t weigh down the 33 month olds hair. Hair felt very soft after use. I like it best/prefer it on misted hair, rather than dry. Smells like thanksgiving when the pies come out the oven. This my first time using it. so not sure how it will be in the long run, but for now it did its job, keeping the hair moisturized.

Smells and feels AMAZING!! However, I didn’t realize that it had almonds as an ingredient. Please please PLEASE make a nut-free option for those of us with allergies!! I still use it on my girls locs and I’m absolutely disappointed that I only get to smell it :/

I’ve tried all of the big names and small name products for natural hair. This one right here is the best!!!! C’mon Donna!! Ms. Tab knows what she is doing with this product line. It’s worth every penny, lemme tell you why.. first the product is light weight. It doesn’t weigh down your hair. It tackles any dryness issues you may have (if you get the LOC products). It leaves your hair soft and bouncy. I washed my hair on a Sunday (with another product, sorry but I’m not wasting my money I’m finishing the bottle lol) then applied Donna’s recipe leave in conditioner..my hair instantly started to bounce and shine. Then I I applied the hair cream oil, then the hair cream. Let it dry and applied the oil serum to my scalp that night. Honey…my styles last for 4 days with no reapplying of the products. I did my wash and go on Sunday went to the hospital to have my baby on a Tuesday hair was still fly. Came home on Thursday (by Thursday I just finger combed and water spritz my hair) boom hair still looked good. I ain’t lying y’all buy this product the quality and performance is unmatched in my opinion. Returning customer for sure!!
