Great cover, fantastic customer service
I have an older F250 Crewcab (square box style) and it lives outdoors and the weather and local plant life has been taking a toll on the truck. Namely, it is parked in a wooded area and the leaves and seed pods fall onto the windshield and then if left uncleaned, in about a month my windshield wipers and air vents are full of little green sprouts. The bed itself is obviously much worse in that amount of time….but you don’t really need to see through the bed in order to drive, while you do kind of need good visibility through the front window. While it may be funny to pretend that it’s on purpose and you are just “going green” and trying to help offset the carbon footprint of a thirsty 7.5L gasoline engine, the truth is that it’s actually quite difficult to drive when you have a rainforest on your windshield. (plus, it gets really muddy if you need to flip the wipers on).Anyway, I bough this cover to help with the flora problem and it works fantastic. It actually looks pretty nice and fits like it was custom made for it..After several weeks of having it out in the elements, I noticed a tear near one of the seams (which was kind of surprising since it felt pretty heavy duty). I don’t know if it was maybe a spot where the fabric had been damaged before I put it on, or if it was from an animal or something else entirely. Anyway, I contacted DuckCovers directly to see if I could get a repair patch or something to fix the tear. They responded faster than any company I’ve ever dealt with. (On a weekend no less) Literally, in a matter of minutes they had my information and were ready to send out a brand new one to replace the damaged one.Time will tell if this one lasts several years, but given the level of customer service and the fact that they were willing to send out a new one to replace the damaged one says that they are confident in the quality of their product and that they take pride in what they do. I was very impressed to say the least. If I ever need another cover for a vehicle, Duck Covers will definitely be the first place I’ll go.

I’m Impressed!
I cannot believe the quality of the product for the price. It is not a snug custom fit like my previous covers. That said, the extra material makes for easier covering on my 1 ton truck. Also the oversize puts less strain on the seams in high wind. There are 10 grommet holes which is adequate. I was paying 4 times as much for a custom cover previously that had to be replaced every two years. So far no issues in wind, rain or even snow. Now, if only they would make one for my 35′ performance boat.

Fit, Length wise is ok , but somehow doesn’t fit correctly
Material is good, price was good, however the fitting isn’t very good. And this is a Silverado 1500 x-cab.

Do Not Buy A Weather Defender Truck Cover
Do not buy a Weather Defender Car cover, got one for my 2019 Tundra Double Cab and its the right length, a little droopy in the back, but it only comes down to within 12 inches from the bottom of the door. So the truck isn’t fully covered on the sides and its gets dirty there and in the front where it isn’t long enough to cover the from bumper. So the fit isn’t great but the real problem is they just do not hold up. The Blue Stripe material started disintegrating after three weeks (which I think is only from exposure to sun) I could see voids in it developing, and it started leaving a fine polyester dust on the truck. Then after six weeks, because it continued to turn to dust, it gave it up and started tearing at the seams. Today the wind picked up and totally shredded it so it’s trash now. Good News, the vendor is sending me another piece of junk to replace instead of refunding me (its outside the 30 day window for refund). Yes I’m not happy about that but beware, the material it’s made of is pretty much worthless and the fit on a double cab truck is poor.

Extremely disappointing
Not for outdoor use, apparently! I bought this to cover a ‘97 s10 that is parked outside, a mix of sun and shade throughout the day. Figuring out exactly where to cut the antenna hole was challenging, but part of what I signed up for. I didn’t do too terrible of a job, and I can’t imagine how else the company could plan for the variations in antenna options, so that’s fine. The fit was acceptable, perfect from nose to tailgate, pretty good on the (extended) cab itself, though I HAD TO fold in the side mirrors and work the super tight fabric over them, and also it was way way off for the height of the cab somehow, I had a ton of extra fabric that I just sort of folded under itself in hopes of not collecting debris. I checked on it after the first rain, and as expected the “bed” was full of water. Ok, so I dropped the tailgate and drained that off, no big deal, and put a tall item in the bed to create a sort of “tent” shape and not collect future rainwater. but the rest of the cab was wet as well, so it’s definitely not waterproof and now there’s mud under the cover…weird. But I’m more offended and disappointed that after the rainy season the outer plastic-y layer began to flake off to the point that if you touch it it crumbles to a fine dust. The “fabric” seems to be intact, so I guess technically it’s still a cover but I have to remember to wear a full hazmat suit just to take the cover off because that “dust” goes absolutely everywhere. It basically makes the cover useless as I don’t have time to stop and take a full shower every time I use it. I’m definitely not interested in trying to stuff a giant desiccated flaky mess into the bag for storage. This brand was highly recommended to me, but I cannot say the same.

I’m using it to cover my truck for the winter

This cover fits well and seems well made but it’s too early to assess durability having only just put it on my truck. It fits my F-150 STX. The fitting of the aerial went just fine. Just be slow to get the cover symmetrical over the whole truck before carefully determining where to make your penetrating mark on the cover for the aerial. The adhesive ‘donut’ works just fine

This cover tears like a piece of paper on the seems. The first one they replaced and the second one did the same. It is a fault in design and they should not be selling.

We measured and did what they suggested and it is to small , we will go buy another brand that will ship the right size
