Excellent Introduction
I decided to get into electricity and green energy. When I started running into technical problems that required me to design my own circuit boards, I knew I had better get a fundamental education in electronics. I’ve always been self-taught by reading books and tutorials from experts and avoiding the expense of schooling. Its gotten me far in life. This book gave me a tremendous amount of useful information and a fantastic foundation about the basic elements of circuit design and their components. There are also superb explanations about the internal mechanics of various components, including how diodes work. I haven’t read other books in this field yet, but I’m quite impressed with the presentation and breadth of information in this one. I found out about it because it was recommended by this guy: […]To make sure I was prepared for this book, I purchased the precursor book on Electricity. I thought it was outstanding. I found it to be simple, clear and a breadth of information. You can tell its dumbed down a bit — not written to expect you to have high-level physics and calculus comprehension — but it still makes use of some basic physics principles. Electronics: Priciples and Applications
This book is for a class that I’m taking for work. The price was half what I would have paid through the school. Great find and a great price. The book covers a second quarter class and is designed for beginning level electronics students. So far I’ve found it easy to follow and comprehend. The book covers semiconductors, diodes, power supplies, transistors and amplifiers. The author Charles Schuler does a good job of describing how these components function.

I can deal with this!
As I hate writing in my books, this has writing and highlighting in it. Got it for a great price and the highlighting in the book, I found so far to be useful.

no cd in my order when it was advertized.
I ordered the book with a Mutlisim cd. A cd did Not come with the book as advertised. I am very dissatisfied with this product. I would return it but I am in the middle of a course. I will have second thoughts when ordering thru your company in the future. Barry Carragher

Good shape.
My book store was selling this for over $100, bought this for $9.00. Only a few pages have small writing on them, other than that, it’s in great shape. Well worth it. Highly recommend.
