Comfortable, sounds good, really cool case
I ordered these for my wife, since we have been locked in the house for a couple of months and now that the weather is nicer she has taken to jogging in the evenings and wanted a good set of headphones to try. I have had good luck with Monster brand products so I ordered these we have both used them. Unlike most inexpensive headphones (or even expensive ones) these come in an attractive aluminum case that twists open. Every other earbud I have used comes in a plastic case, including my Jabra set that cost over twice what I paid for these. The case also charges and this brings us to another unique feature, the port is USB C instead of micro USB. In 2020 there is no excuse to use anything but USB C, the connector is a much better connection and you don’t have to worry about if it is properly aligned as you do with the old school micro USB. Monster really impressed me with this feature on their new devices and it is one less type of cable to carry when traveling as we already carry USB C for our phones. Sound quality is much better than headphones in a similar price range and probably better than my year old Jabras. The headphones are lightweight and don’t weigh down your ears, my wife has not complained about comfort and does not have to adjust them or anything while she is out of the house. They are also a discreet fit in the ear and don’t scream “look at me and rob me” like the white buds everyone likes to wear. Monster had me at five stars just for the USB C and the sound and build quality are just icing on the cake. I recommend these and for the price it is a no brainer.

Satisfactory but can improve.
After lots of digging, I decided on this pair for my first bluetooth earbuds. They’re satisfactory for a first pair but has potential to improve. Overall I’d give it a 3.5 or 4/5 for the sale price I bought it; for the original price, maybe a 3/5.▶ PACKAGING (4/5): Compact and nice except for the part where they buried the extra ear tips deep beneath the manuals. I forgot they exited and when I remembered, I thought they forgot to give them to me since they were so hidden.▶ PAIRING (4/5): Easy and quick to do the initial pairing. For the initial pairing, I only used the right earbud and it worked great but when I decided to switch to the left earbud only, I noticed latency while watching youtube videos. It also disconnected twice randomly while using the left earbud alone, then when I tried to reconnect it said it was already connected but the sound came out of my device rather than the earbuds. But when I put it back in the case and took out both to re-pair (not reconnect but re-pair, by turning off bluetooth on my device and redoing everything), the latency disappeared and everything worked great! No more disconnects afterwards. Not sure if that happened because of actual connection issues or if it’s just because I paired individually the first time around. I’ve tried these earbuds with my Macbook and my Samsung phone and both paired easily; the earbuds also work very well with both devices. The only thing I wish could be different is that when I take the earbuds out, they automatically pair to the last connected device so I have to manually change it every time if I’m switching between my laptop and phone.▶ VOLUME (5/5): I think the volume is perfectly fine for me, I generally listen on low to medium volume but I don’t find that I have to turn it up any more than I usually do with wired earbuds.▶ CONTROLS (2/5): This is the thing I struggle with so much. The manual says to double tap the left earbud to turn the volume down and double tap the right earbud to turn it up. Out of the 20 or so times I’ve tried this, it’s worked maybe once or twice… Tapping once to play/pause the media works well though, and a lot of the times when I’m trying to change the volume, it just ends up pausing/playing the media instead ugh. I don’t actually mind having to turn up/down the volume with my device but I feel like if there’s the function to do so with the earbuds, it should actually work…▶ CHARGING/CASE (4/5): I haven’t tried using the earbuds all the way to zero battery and always put them back into the charging case when I’m done using them, but after using them for a few hours a day, I can get maybe 4 charges with the case? The one thing I’d like to see changed is to have a button to press or a sensor to activate in order to see how many bars are left for the charging case. The only way to see the number of bars left is to take out/put back an earbud.

Very good, almost premium earbuds. Stop looking and buy these.
If you’re like me, this is the 6th or 15th set of ear buds you’ve looked at by now, and you are trying to figure out if these are worth the money. They cost enough that they aren’t in the cheapo mix, but not so much that you think they are “premium”. I’ve had a few sets of wireless headphones, and these are easily the best ones I’ve had so far. Though the sound quality isn’t going to be Bose or Beats, they are easily better than any random $25 – $60 pair. The case is pretty cool, though doesn’t fit my pocket great. The battery life is excellent (I used them yesterday in the gym for 1.5 hours, then listened to podcasts for about 4 hours while doing some work, never went below 60%), the range is really good (in the house, they work about 60ft, through a wall, outside, around 150 feet in the open from my phone). The only thing I wish they did better was to be a bit louder. They can’t blow my ear drum like my Beats could, but they are loud enough that I can’t hear anything else in the gym, including the background music. Call quality is excellent, though people say they can hear all of the background nose around me. That’s fine, I didn’t buy them for making phone calls. If I had one major improvement, it would be to improve the volume adjustment control for these. You have to double tap the bud on one side or the other for volume up (right side) or down (left side), not the best method and it’s not super sensitive, so it doesn’t always work. Not a deal breaker for me though. The controls for play/pause, skip, and voice assistant (Google/Siri) are all the intuitive touch controls, on either side.If you’re on the fence, buy them. They are worth the extra money to get away from the cheapo mix.Pros-Awesome sound for the priceVery well built, both buds and charging caseFairly small and light in my earsBattery lifeBluetooth rangeCons-Not a fan of the MFB controls for volumeCall quality not the greatest on the other endCase is round, so doesn’t fit in my pocket greatInstruction book kinda sucks (you can tell it wasn’t written by a native English speaker, has weird grammar and spelling issues)Overall-My needs with headphones are sound quality, Bluetooth range, battery life and durability. These meet all of my standards for the above. I would highly recommend these to anyone. If you are tired of reading review after review, do yourself a favor and just buy these. You won’t be disappointed.

I purchased this pair of Monster earbuds mainly for the purpose of working out and running. It really does the job.a) In terms of the sound quality and bass level, I am quite impressed. Well, it is made by Monster. The sound is crispy and clear enough for me to hear all the detail while working out or jogging.b) Noise cancellation is quite good for preventing a certain level of external unwanted sound/noises.c) Comfort level is great while the earbuds can sit tied properly within my ears. In addition, they are IPX5 water resistant, which are adequately protected from sweating and rain drop. Compared to some over $200 big brand competitors on market, I think these earbuds offer a better performance for sport usage.d) Fancy looking for both the charging case and earbuds. The earbuds’ indicator lights are in a shape of halo, which are quite unique and eye catching. The case is also quite portable.e) Battery can hold long enough for at least 4 hours of music playback and 2+ hour of talking, combing the power on both earbuds and case. The carrying case itself can charge the earbuds while not using. To charge the earbuds & case, there is a USB-C cable, which greatly enhance the charging speed.f) Connection/syncing to the earbuds is very easy from the phone or other devices supporting bluetooth. This product supports bluetooth 5.0, so the sound delay is non-significant. I don’t have any issue while streaming videos and music, meaning there is almost no delay on the video playback. Since I am not a gamer, I am quite interested to see other’s comment on how it performs. The signal range of the earbuds is also very strong. I can listen to my music without any problem while my phone is on a different floor.Lastly, there is still some room for improvement. For instance, I found the build-in mic tent to pick up lower volume while I am speaking in certain environment. My friend who’s on the other side of the line has mentioned to me that I need to speak louder sometimes. Other than this issue, I think this product is closed to perfect. Hopefully the manufacturer will improve that in their future products.

I’ve been using these earbuds for a couple weeks now and I have to say I’m quite pleased. I misplaced my Monster Victories one day and decided to give these bad boys a go. The airlinks are way better. Years ago I owned a pair of Sennheiser cx bts semi-wirelss earbuds and the experience is very close at almost the same price range. I spent $50ish more on the Sennheiser and they were only slightly better in terms of quality, so these are REALLY good at the current price. The main difference would be microphone quality rather than sound.I listen to music on a regular basis, so I care about sound quality. The earbuds provide a very pleasurable listening experience, block out a significant amount of noise (I won’t hear a truck coming until its practically right next to me and see it at the corner of my eye or a slight turn of the head, and even then its faint. I listen at about 50% volume on avg + wind from riding board at 30km/hr… so pay close attention to the streets and be safe when crossing). Plus, they fit VERY SNUG and tight in the ear. This is probably the best fit I’ve experienced. As a result, I pretty much have to take one out to have a conversation, like when ordering food, pausing the music isn’t enough. They are relatively easy to use, though it may take some practice to get used to the accuracy and time interval for double tapping to use volume controls, as you WILL accidentally pause the music every now and then (single tap). They case is beautiful and high quality. The earbuds look pretty good too.In terms of improvement, the microphone signal is to weak to use for voice calls on a regular basis. A quick chat in a quiet environment is okay, but otherwise I would not rely on these for calling. You can hear perfectly fine, but your conversation partner doesn’t hear you clearly. Your voice comes in at a low and inconsistent level. I would be willing to pay more to have a stronger, more reliable microphone on this pair. Then these would be more versatile, and practically perfect. I already have a designated Mpow headset for voice and video calls, so it doesn’t bother me too much.Connectivity is very simple, you do not have to manually turn them on and off. They turn on and connect when you remove them from the case, off when you put them back. Just don’t touch the flat surface again when they are in and charging. The monster manual doesn’t tell you how to manually turn them on and off, or reset the connectivity (if you want to unpair them and use them as two separate bluetooth devices or repair them to each other), but it can be done by holding them for a long time for power, and even longer for connectivity reset. In general, I’m very satisfied! I was bummed out when I lost my monster victories but now I’m glad they are gone because these have better sound, are truly wireless, and last way longer in terms of battery due to the charging case.If the mic were stronger I’d give 5 stars. My actual rating is 4.5.

Very well packaged item. I’ve never seen a case like this before. It is very well made and has a very unique look and style. Had these for a week and I am enjoying them. I’ve used them on the treadmill and they don’t fall out. No problems at all. Pairing was super easy. I just pulled them out of the unit and it paired right away. The touch operation includes 1 tap play and pause, double tap to raise the volume on the right side, double tap to lower the volume on the left side, long hold to skip tracks or long hold the other side to skip the other way.Do they sound amazing? Yes, I am happy to say they do. It is by far one of the clearest earbuds I own. The low end is full and extends far. The mid sounds are not muddy. You can hear them loud and clear. The highs are there and sound amazing but not piercing. The sounds are very punchy. The drum sounds are reproduced really really well with these buds. They also have a lot of volume. They are definitely worth buying in my opinion. They will go into my backpack!Pros:- The fit is really comfortable, solid and very secure- They are very light weight- Each charge holds about 5 hours of battery- Set up was super easy- Can use 1 earbud at a time for surrounding awareness- Can make calls, answer calls and listen to music with 1 earbud- The call quality is decent. Its clear and people will have no trouble understanding you.- Touch operations are simple to use.- The sound is amazing! Clear and punchy.Cons:- The case holds 30 hours of battery. Not the longest in the market.
