Havent tried to start anything to crazy just yet some 6 cylinders with semi dead batteries and it did just fine. Its abit lighter then i expected given its claims however it hasnt shown any signs of being weak so i cant hold that against it if there able to get that power without shoving a super chunky battery/capacitor in. only down side is a only get a few hits out of it and then its dead

One of those just in case, but I hope to never use items that I’m glad I had.I used to have one of those heavy, and bulky jump packs until it started leaking acid. I got pretty lucky of not replacing it for a few years, and not needing it. It also took up a lot of space and was difficult to plug in (needed an extension cord).When I came across this jump pack I said why not. I didn’t know at the time it would save me within a week. My car doesn’t like the cold and I normally keep it on a float charger during the winter. It warmed up to 50-60 degrees the last few days so I decided to enjoy the gas savings compared to my truck.This had only been in the car for a week and today leaving work the car wouldn’t start. I pulled this out, plugged in the clamps, clamped to the battery terminals and ran into the car to turn the key. The car started right up. I’ll be getting a new battery soon, but I’m glad I had this jump starter handy.It’s small enough, compared to my old jump pack, to store almost anywhere. Also, it proved itself as reliable already. The price at time of review is $59.99. A very affordable option.

And it was designed with certain safety measures that help reduce the possibility of a fire or accident should you hook the clamps up improperly. Now, let’s talk about the thing that everyone missed….A few reviewers took a star away from their product rating, mostly because they weren’t a fan of the asking price. But what they missed is that the manufacturer was also running a discount on the jump starter. So right now, the list price for it is $99. But there is a little check box for a discount, for 50% off the retail price. Which means at the final stage of checking out, you will only pay $50 for the jump starter with tax. And $50 is a reasonable price for what you get.Do better jump starters exist? Without question, yes. But some of them will cost you four times what this one does. So for the budget-minded, this jump starter makes a dependable option.

Saved the day!
Recently, our Kia Sorento battery went dead and wouldn’t start. Hooking this up, and in literally seconds, we had the car started and running! This really saved the day.The Kia alarm goes off when jump started, and the lights were fully on. I had to connect this, then jump into the car myself to start it. I’m no sprinter. The big displayed showed we had 80% left after the jump. Plenty to do another jump if we needed.The power charge display is a great feature. It shows 100% after charging, and then how much power is left after each jump.The built-in light is also a great feature to see under the hood at night.USB-C ports can use a high power USB charger and charges fairly fast.The included hard shell case keeps everything organized and allows it to be safely stored in the car.The Unit is built rugged, and the cables are a good quality. The connected battery cables have a little LED light to let you know it has power.This is a superb jump starter. A good value for the quality of build and the features.
