Great iPhone holder
I purchased this to replace a vent phone holder that automatically open and closed on the sides based upon a motion sensor. Sounded like a great idea but it was very frustrating as it sometimes would not open when you wanted to and other times it would open when you didn’t (if you were tapping the touchscreen). The prior holder also did not really attach strongly to the vent so it vibrated a lot. It also did not have a height adjustment so the phone was right in front of the vent and got quite hot in the winter when I had to turn on the heat. This product solves all of those problems. It attaches very securely to vent. While not automatic, putting the phone in or taking it out of the holder is super easy. For a cheap piece of plastic it has a very solid feel to it. The height adjustment is also great and works very well so now I have it raised above the vent which prevents the phone from getting very hot and also allows heat to come into the passenger area. Getting a simple product that actually works well is sometimes not as easy as it sounds. This is one of them.

A really good fit
My vehicle has a curved dash, so I could use brands that mounted to the dash. That being said I gave this a try and it works really well. It is very sturdy and holds my phone in place without putting a big strain on the vent itself. The design allows for me to move my phone horizontally or vertically with ease. Lastly, the installation was very easy, which I really enjoyed.

Great cell phone holder
I’ve ordered more car cell phone holders than I can count. One after the other disappointed in overall performance. This one does not! I love this cell phone holder. Its very sturdy and keeps the phone stable. I was hesitant about an vent mount holder, but this one is very adjustable. So you don’t block the vent and the phone doesn’t have constant air blowing on it. Highly recommend.

Exactly what we needed!
We needed a new phone holder for the passenger side of the front seat and wanted something that would keep the phone as far from the heat as possible. This seemed ideal, but we were worried because our vents are vertical rather than horizontal. But we need not have worried because the mechanism to keep the phone holder in place screws in tightly and does not move.So far the holder has supported both a skinny light weight iPhone 14 and my heavier Samsung fold 4.Installation was easy, a matter of a few minutes. And as you can see, the nice long arm keeps the phone away from the heaters that we need as we move into colder winter months.If you are looking for something easy and functional, you can’t go wrong here. Will report back if the holder suddenly malfunctions or falls apart on us!

Great product design but not long lasting bc it’s plastic
This was great when it was working! I love using this when I’m driving long distances so I don’t have to juggle my phone and driving. Super easy to install, easy to tighten the grip on the phone and loosen by pressing a button on the back.Unfortunately the plastic ring that tightens the phone/holder to the mount loosened itself and when I went to tighten it, I found out it cracked and is no longer usable.

May not fit small vents easily
Generally, I like this phone mount. It is well designed and works, as far as the design goes. Hooking behind a vent blade makes it more secure than a friction-based mount (which is what I had previously and tended to fall off the vent every week or so). My only problem with it is that the support base (against which the hook pulls when it is tightened) is 2″ x 1″, so you need that much space on the face of the vent in order to secure it. When measuring your vent, be sure to take into account any knob or handle in the middle of the vent for adjusting the angle/direction of the airflow, as you cannot mount the base of the phone mount over such a handle/knob.The vents on my car (a 2015 Acura TLX) do not provide the space necessary to accommodate the base due to both the width of the vent being about 2″ or less and the presence of an adjustment handle. I was not able to secure the mount on the vent on the left side of the steering wheel, where I wanted it – there was just no way to make it fit. I was finally able to mount it on the vent on the right side of the steering wheel, which is less than 2″ wide at its bottom, by having the mount’s base positioned so that it extends beyond the vent, resting on the dashboard area that surrounds the vent. It is secure enough, but in this position, partially obstructs my view of the infotainment screen.

This is a great product. It attaches very securely to the louvres on your air vents. The height and tilt is easily adjustable. The phone fits nice and securely in the spring tension side arms. There is also a base lip for extra support if your phone is heavy.

I have bought some cheap versions of this phone holder from The Reject Shop and Hot Dollar and this is far superior. It fits the vent perfectly and the flexibility allows the cold air from the vent to still pass the phone holder. Really happy with this product.

Good value for money and works well. You need to try different positions on your vents before locking it down and ensure that the ring nut is well tightened.There are many similar items on the market but this one seems to work well and does not inhibit the air conditioning to any great degree. It also will not fall off as it does not rely on suction. It is also able to be positioned low as well as high on a sliding mini rack. I like it!

After 5, 6 …or was it 7, of these phone holders, I’ve finally found one that works! Not stuck up in the sun on a windscreen, not drooping down or wobbling all over the place on rough and bumpy roads, just neatly & securely held in a vent (cooled if I need it) and within close (and discrete) use. WELL DONE!
