Great Value and Decent Quality!
It is a well thought out design. One of the best elements is the adjustability of the screen. It allows for easy adjustment and stays in place after its adjusted. The ball and socket mount is a great idea and allows easy viewing angle no matter which way the sun is entering the car windows. The volume knob stops you from searching for it while driving, that is a nice feature as well. It doesn’t have some of the features as other units which cost more but what it does have actually works. Android auto works like it should, back-up camera view is clear and makes it easy to see what’s behind you. The only thing I wish is that you could dim the daytime screen more. Overall for the price and its options, is worth the purchase. I am very happy with its performance.

Was ok-ish, now useless
At first it was an ok little head unit. Floating screen is great for putting a biggish screen in a vehicle that only has a single DIN opening, and having a volume knob is a nice feature that is becoming rare. Had I reviewed it a year ago it would probably get 4 stars and I would have called it a good value. But I’m the last few months I’ve grown to hate it and regret eating my money on it. The USB cable for the Android/Apple phones is hard wired and fragile. If it gets pinched (such as getting closed in a glovebox) it is likely to fail. Replacements are not available. Once you go into the radio and solder in a new cable, you have only delt with the first problem. After a while the connection to the screen goes bad. This first manifests in random dimming, then progresses to full on static bursts like a bad ’90s tv antenna. Eventually it does and you can no longer control any functions. There’s a reason this unit is half the cost of the big names, and that reason is a lack of quality.Avoid this of you plan on keeping your vehicle.Probably great if you’re selling the vehicle soon though.

Surprisingly a very good radio! Especially great for a boss!
So, Boss has never been synonymous with high quality stereo equipment. Let’s be honest. It’s no kenwood, alpine, etc. However! I’m actually impressed as I’ve had no issues buying $1k head units over the years. This is quite decent considering this massive touch screen! Graphics are decent for an automotive unit. It’s no 4K TV, and i haven’t found any company that can stack up to that claim for a 12 volt audio system. Touch screen is nice and sensitive as a modern phone would be. Boot time takes about 12 seconds which turns out that I don’t even notice as I start my truck and get settled in. Menus are easy to navigate.A complaint (and I’ve order a replacement that hasn’t arrived yet) is that when the system turns on the volume is very loud. You go to turn the knob to make it quite and it shows the volume is already at zero. It stays loud, rotate the knob forward and the volume suddenly goes quite! Very strange! Now, for phone calls it does the exact opposite. It rings at a normal volume, and once someone picks up and the counter timer starts for the actual phone call, the volume goes to zero and you can’t hear the other party and you have to turn it up quickly. So, you are forced to pay attention to the timer so you know when you can turn up the volume. If the car stays running after these initial adjustments, it will act normally until you power off and on again. Then life repeats itself. Seriously hoping the replacement doesn’t act this way. It’s definitely annoying and assuming it’s an isolated incident, this is a very good unit.As for basic software on it, I just don’t use it. It’s always CarPlay.I am running Apple as well.

Looks great in my 2007 RAM
I wanted a modern Android Auto radio with navigation in my truck. With the floating adjustable display, this radio is just right. My RAM had a weird non-rectangular shape. It was mostly rectangular, but had strange half-circle cutouts in the dash for the volume and channel selection knobs. This radio with, special for RAM and Dodge, a Scosche CR1286B installation kit really looks nice!I got a CRUX wiring harness specifically for my RAM to complete the installation. Add to that some Wago inline connectors, and the job was pretty easy.Dislikes:1. The screen is a little too bright for night use, even at the lowest brightness adjustment. I might get some neutral color photographer’s film to put over it, and hope that doesn’t affect the touch screen. So far it isn’t so bright that I want to return the radio.2. The microphone so far is very quiet, and people I call can barely hear me. I’ll call Boss support about this one. But then talking to other people is a little overrated.3. Probably not a fault with the radio, but I can’t find a wireless remote Steering Control System. With the volume adjustment knob on this radio so handy, I’m not sure I need to add a volume control to my steering wheel, but I’d like to try it.

lasted about 2 yrs
Lasted just over 2 yrs. Now it shuts down randomly, after it locks up, will not let you changed anything. Have to shut car off to reset. there are no updates for this radio. Android auto never worked right from the start. But Bluetooth was good. so just kept it. Not worth what they want for this thing

Great purchase!
Nice bright screen! Fast responses, I like that the equalizer option comes up when you adjust the volume. The map when in Android Auto mode is awesome too, very great detail. Definitely recommend this to upgrade OEM!

Boss Elite BE10ACP-C
Love the way this stereo looks in my truck. I measured before purchasing and so glad I got the 10″ touch screen. It’s super easy to set up and installation was a breeze. The touch screen is good quality and the Bluetooth works really well. Super happy with it

Looks good and worked great for awhile. Bought in November 2021 from day one it would never remember volume settings so always started at zero was annoying for phone calls but was okay once you got used to it. In the last week though android auto works for about 20mins and then quits have to unplug and replug in the phone to get it to work again. I tried a new cord same thing. Also calls don’t work anymore. If I call out they can hear me I can’t hear them. On incoming calls I can hear them and they can’t hear me.It was good while it lasted but should have just spent the extra money and gotten a better quality touch screen setup.

Good quality but not plug and play. I need to purchase a mounting bracket, cam bus and wiring harness before it worked.
