I think it might actually be working
I have melasma (one almost black spot about the size of a half dollar on my left cheek, one light brown spot about the size of a quarter on my right cheek). These have been on my face about 4 years now and they have just been getting larger and darker soI finally decided I needed help because every otc item I had tried did not help. So I have been going to the dermatologist since October 2021 every 8 weeks. He put me on Hydroquinone with zero results, then Azelaic acid and another med with slight results, and this last time I went he gave me another med and told me to try this too. I don’t feel that the other med is making much of a difference because I was using it for a couple of weeks before I got this in the mail and I was not seeing any change. Once I got this in the mail, I noticed that both patches started lightening faster than they have with all of the other meds he has perscribed me (I have been taking this a few days shy of a month now). I feel it is definitely worth it to keep using it and see if there is even more progress. Also, I forgot to mention he also has me using 50 spf sunscreen with iron oxides so I have been using that since October as well.UPDATE 4/8/2022 – This stuff has been working for my melasma, there is no doubt in my mind about it. I have been taking it for almost 2 months now and the big melasma spot I had on my left cheek (that was almost black) has faded considerably, so much so, it is almost to the point where it is barely noticeable with my tinted sunscreen and the lighter patch on my right cheek isn’t noticeable at all with my tinted sunscreen. With the spot on my left cheek, there is also A LOT of spotting so I think it’s on the path to clearing up completely. I was a little skepticle, but I will continue taking this unless the improvement comes to a stop. Also, I wanted to note that I have not had any side effects. I know some people on other online review forums have said they broke out, felt itchy, and things like that. I haven’t had anything but positive results – at least so far. I have my 2 month follow up with my dermatologist next week and I’m pretty sure he’s going to be happy with the progress I have made these last 2 months.

I received my package on March 31 wish was fast shipping although my only problem was that the box came opened but didn’t affect the medication bottle though.Other than that, I have been taking 2 capsules a day and I don’t have any side affects. I’m at half the bottle now, and I have some very significant side effects. Nausea, dizziness, fatigue, and extreme hunger. I exercise 6 times a week, after taking this supplement, I could not perform at all. Energy level is almost zero. I thought I was sick initially as no supplement has given me any side effects. After doing some research on Nicotinamide, 500mg is too much for the body to take. Definitely for me. I will decrease to one capsule a day and see how my body will react. If side effects is still significant I’ll stop totally.
