Great replacement option for worn out ballest
I got these to replace some work out ballests in my garage lights with the same specs. Worked like a champ and super easy installation. They work as designed and cost effective.

Easy to install without having to take the fixture down.
The product worked as presented. Relatively easy to install. This was used in a four bulb T8 fixture that had the same part number. The replacement part was slightly smaller than the OEM ballast but the mounting bracket matched up perfectly. The wires were color coded the same as the original. Splicing blue to blue, yellow to yellow, etc., was all it took. A few of the reviews indicate the product only lasted a few months. Time will tell, but so far it is working perfectly and sure beat buying a complete new fixture. $25 vs. $160.

Good replacement option
Fit well were original ballast was mounted. Very thin wires, but it works great.Packaging was lacking, needed to be in a cardboard box, not in an envelope.

Direct Replacement, Generous Wire Lengths, and it Works
This is the “slim line” version of the KTEB-432RIS-1-TP that it replaced. It is, accordingly, slimmer. That made no difference to the installation because the tabs and holes lined up and the wire color-coding is the same. The wire lengths are very generous. I could wire a doll house with the excess. In fact, I might just do that. The white ballast in the picture is the old one. The black ballast is the new one. The gunky looking stuff is mouse sealant. That doesn’t come with the ballast. The new and old ballast are actually the same length. The camera angle makes the old one look longer. The old ballast was wired with the wires attached directly to the tombstones, so I cut those wires and spliced the new ballast’s leads into the five-inch pigtails I left on the tombstones. The tools I needed were a socket wrench (5/16″), a wire cutter, and a wire stripper. I also needed some wire nuts. I’d already used a multimeter to verify that the circuit wasn’t energized. And that’s basically that. I wired the ballast into the box, energized the circuit, and the light worked. Total time was about half an hour, including gathering the tools and removing and replacing the diffuser.
